It’s that time of year again… festival season is descending upon us. Those daydreams of dancing in fields with the summer sun on our faces, surrounded by thousands of happy people, are starting to seem more and more realistic every day.

Baltic Weekender: Liverpool
Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th June
Yes, Liverpool – don’t let the Baltic part fool you, they mean Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. With Liverpool’s serious music credentials, there’s no option but for its festivals to be spot-on, and this Weekender’s line up looks to be an absolute stormer.
Love International: Tisno, Croatia
Weds 28th June – Weds 5th July 2017
Beaches, boat parties and banging tunes. There’s really not much else that needs to be said about Love International, but in case you were’t totally sold, this festival is brought to you by the same beautiful minds who made The Garden festival what it was. Check the line up and more.
Beats, Beers and Boogaloo: Tisno, Croatia
Thurs 13th – Mon 17th July 2017
Croatia’s newest festival has a particularly gorgeous little niche – this one is all about craft beers and funk music. If dancing up a storm to the Hot 8 Brass Band while sipping a beautiful ice cold brew in the sun sounds like your kind of party, this could be the festival you’ve been waiting for.
Nozstock The Hidden Valley: Bromyard, Herefordshire, UK
Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd July 2017
Nozstock will charm you like no festival has ever charmed you before. Set on a working farm in Herefordshire, it’s a small but substantial independent festival with a quality line up and – importantly – a really lovely crowd. Its family friendly, but there’s plenty of party too.
Soundwave: Tisno, Croatia

Set in The Garden in Tisno, Soundwave has just totally nailed the perfect blend of music over the past 9 years, with everything from sublime hip hop through to banging techno making the perfect soundtrack to one of the most beautiful festivals you’ll ever experience.
Garorock: Marmande, (close to Bordeaux), France
Friday 30th June – Sunday 2nd July 2017
This urban, indie and electronic festival has been rocking the socks off the French town of Marmande since 1997. In 2017, Garorock’s line-up is as diverse as ever, with Foals, MIA, Justice and London Grammar set to headline.
Ama: Asolo, (close to Venice), Italy
Tuesday 22nd August – Sunday 27th August 2017
Regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Asolo plays host to six days of music and art this August. This year’s AMA festival promises to be an experience to remember, with New York rockers Interpol heading up the bill.
Hospitality in the Park, Finsbury Park, London, UK
Saturday 23rd September 2017
For the second year running, Hospital Records will take over London’s Finsbury Park for a one-day only drum & bass extravaganza. Expect world-class DJ talent as well as plenty of gastro delights, street food and hand-picked craft beer at Hospitality in the Park.
Southport Weekender, Finsbury Park London
Saturday 10th June
Southport Weekender makes its debut London appearance in Finsbury Park this June with Kerri Chandler, Roger Sanchez and David Morales taking to the decks. Billed as ‘the world’s friendliest party’ and one of the most diverse festivals in Europe, Southport Weekender is a breath of fresh air not to be missed.
MADE Festival, Digbeth Triangle Birmingham

Birmingham’s largest music event, MADE Festival returns to the Digbeth Triangle on Saturday 29th July. Showcasing a selection of the best in live and electronic talent, this year’s line-up features Chase & Status (DJ set) + Rage, Giggs, Goldie and Chris Lorenzo.
